I visited LACHIKU_RECT at Hokusatsu Park in Kagoshima on Aug. 15. We usually design and construct our work by ourselves with students, but in this project I just designed it and local carpenters constructed it. So this is the first time for me to visit it.
8月15日、鹿児島県薩摩郡さつま町北薩広域公園に設置されたLACHIKU_RECT.を訪れました。ふつうは設計と施工を学生と一緒に自分たちで行 いますが、この作品では設計のみを行い、施工は地元の大工さんが担当しました。ということで、実物をおとずれるのは実はこれがはじめて。
